World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

Item upgrading (moody-ritter.thoughtlanes.net) allows players to boost the gear score of an item upgrader to 700 and also add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to increase their stats (like a perfectly rolled breakpoint armour used in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can boost their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition some weapons come with a set bonus that activates when three or more of the same weapon is present on a unit. In certain instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage that a weapon is able to upgrade on its own.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon will require two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade a weapon will continue increase until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While this is usually a good thing, it can have some negative consequences too. Upgrades can make things inaccessible, unless you're very lucky.

It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their stats. This can increase the base defense of a helm or chest while belts and gloves will increase their required strength and agility. Armor also has an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it can sometimes change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats it will get when upgraded in addition to their respective values. Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference to your survivability. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poisons fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to traverse difficult areas. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the more health you'll get from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.

To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four in total each of which requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. You'll need anywhere from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and between five Rubies or ten Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, as an example can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to stay ahead in frigid environments with a large group of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you're able to withstand a rout with friends.

You can't upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor to increase physical strength or spell power. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still be wearing at the end of the story, for example the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight The Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

Potions

Potion upgrades require a certain amount of XP. This can be obtained by crafting them on a craft table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the upgrade price changes depending on what type of potion you'd like to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potions you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI that lets you select the potion you would like to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll give you when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP count.

Once a potion has been upgraded, it will not be degraded until you use it again or break the bottle it's stored in. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.

There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance, now have a duration that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the item upgrades hover display. The table of potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players playing Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions can't be mixed in cauldrons. The same applies to using a potion in an empty cauldron. This will draw out the potion, and refill the bottle.

There are also simmering potions that are made using dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to lingering potions to extend their effects. Trinkets

Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still less expensive than buying a new one.
